    PURPOSE
The purpose of this broadcast is to educate VA health care professionals on the clinical challenges in treating multiple myeloma. Topics, including how to best integrate new drugs into current treatment practices, combination and/or sequence for using them, determining optimal approaches for treating older patients with multiple myeloma, the impact of comorbid conditions, and how to optimize supportive care, will be reviewed.
